- (3 tablespoons) Fresh herbs
- 1 package per 2 servings of sirloin steak
- (1 teaspoon) Sea salt
- (1 teaspoon) Garlic powder
First, we picked some fresh herbs from our little pots, oregano and rosemary.
We added some dried garlic powder, thyme, and sea salt.
This was rubbed into the meat, and allowed to come to room temperature. This took about 30 minutes.
We preheated our over to 300 degrees, and placed a heaping three tablespoons of tallow onto a hot skillet. Butter or coconut oil could also be used. Once the tallow was bubbling, we placed the meat onto the skillet.
We allowed the meat to brown for two minutes on each side. Then, the skillet was transferred into the oven, where it cooked for about 7 minutes (adjust to your doneness preference). Done!
We thought it was delectable, and hope you will, too!
